No Retaliation until after Christmas

Yeah, I know - but on top of the need for time to find any willing Radiant mappers and scripters (not to mention voice actors,) I've got school, friends, and a dire need to take a break from making machinima that I'm obligated to finish. In that vein, last Sunday I filmed everything for a half hour long CoD 4 single player movie - in essence, Call of Duty 4: The Movie - and the other day I finished up a World at War video. So keep an eye out for those two, since I should get around to editing them sometime soon here. The Call of Duty machinima tutorial for PC I mentioned earlier should also be up soon, so there's another thing to keep an eye out for.

Introduction

Hey everyone - I'm Connery Kappeler (aka SgtPadrino,) creator of the COD 4 series "Retaliation."

I'm creating this blog primarily to keep fans of the series updated on the progress of the multi-part finale - mostly because it's going to take some time to produce (considering what I have planned, although I can promise that you won't be kept waiting for weeks after the first couple parts premiere - I am not going to start releasing the finale until it is entirely completed) and to keep people from thinking that I gave up and quit on the series when you don't see anything new a few weeks after Episode 7. Although that's the main reason I set this up, I also plan on posting a comprehensive writeup on producing COD 4 machinima for PC, as well as some basic editing tips and general rules to follow for moviemaking, to ensure that aspiring console machinimators aren't kept entirely out of the loop. I will also post any other videos/projects that may come along, and a FAQ concerning some of the more basic questions that people may have about myself and my movies in general.

So stay tuned - there's more to come!
